Each of Marriott's 6,000+ hotels has an online portal with information for guests during their stay. Over the last decade, this page had become overloaded with links, information, and was providing diminishing returns. By 2015, Marriott had already begun converting the majority of web products to a responsive framework and it was time for this portal to be reimagined.
After determining that we could duplicate the underlying framework from the actual hotel's website, we added more fidelity to our concept.
This website framework already had established breakpoints and behaviors for all the widgets we needed for launch.
